Each independently owned Repco Authorised Service workshop offers you an Australian-wide warranty ensuring the goods and services you receive are free from defects in materials and workmanship. With over 500 Repco Authorised Service centres Australia wide, there are few places you won't find one of our workshops within easy reach. Warranty Period For services provided by any Repco Authorised Service workshop, the warranty is for a period of 12 months or 20,000kms (whichever comes first) from the date of your invoice. Claims If you need to make a claim under the warranty, please contact the Repco Authorised Service workshop that originally completed the work on your vehicle. The workshop where the work was originally performed will be responsible for responding to and accepting claims. If the original workshop can't help, they may authorise another workshop in the network to assist. Terms and Conditions What does the warranty cover? The Repco Authorised Service workshop will have the option of reperforming, replacing or repairing the good or service if it is or becomes defective during the warranty period, at no additional charge.
a.       Where the good or service is replaced, repaired or reperformed pursuant to this warranty, the replacement good or reperformed service will be subject to the terms of this warranty commencing on the date of the original invoice.
b.       If you request for a good to be repaired, your Repco Authorised Service workshop may choose to replace the good with a refurbished good of the same type. The warranty will cover any reasonable diagnosis or scanning fees conducted by the relevant Repco Authorised Service workshop, if such goods or services are later found to be defective. If the work done on your vehicle involves the supply of services from another service provider nominated by the Repco Authorised Service centre, the warranty offered by such service provider will replace this Nationwide Warranty to the extent of such goods .  The Repco Authorised Service centre will advise you of the terms and conditions of such warranty. The rights and obligations under this warranty remain solely with the original Repco Authorised Service workshop that provided you with the product or service. The benefit of this warranty is personal to you and is not transferable. What does the warranty not cover? This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear and consumable goods such as globes, wipers, and fluids; loss of any data stored in your vehicle like music or phone numbers; and any incidental loss or damage caused by the defect, such as towing fees, loss of profits, loss of use and loss of goodwill or other loss or damage that cannot reasonably be considered to arise normally. This warranty is void if the defect is a consequence of misuse, neglect, abuse, incorrect operation or improper maintenance of the vehicle, accident, or other use that is not otherwise caused by a Repco Authorised Service workshop. How to submit a warranty claim Step 1: Have your original invoice ready. Step 2: Ensure that you make your claim within the warranty period. Step 3:  Please contact the Repco Authorised Service centre that carried out the relevant repairs or maintenance on your vehicle. Their contact details are on  your original invoice.  Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law The goods and services acquired from a Repco Authorised Service workshop comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Australian Trades Small Business Champion Award for Automotive Mechanical Repairs 2024 has been awarded to Berry Springs Mechanical Huge congratulations to Beckie Kernich and the Berry Springs Mechanical team for winning the Australian Small Business Trade Champion Awards...  This is an incredible achievement for Beckie and the team The Berry Springs workshop was started 30 years ago by Doug Barden at Bardens Lakes until Tony Saliba took over the reins, becoming a Repco Authorised Service Centre and adding a new shed on higher ground to solve the issue of water surrounding the old shed at times. Then a little over ten years ago Beckie Kernich acquired the business and that's when the magic really started to happen. Calm and unassuming, Beckie epitomises the laid back, straight from the shoulder Territorian as she navigates the challenges and crises that come with running a successful car service workshop. Beckie began her work with engines as a motorbike mechanic in her teens before pursuing other avenues. They say that life begins at forty though and Beckie took this to heart.  As a single mum who found herself in a poor financial position, Beckie took stock of her life and decided to head back towards her first love - mechanical repairs. The opportunity to take over the Berry Springs workshop came up and Beckie jumped at the chance to improve her lot by taking over the business as both the boss and the then resident apprentice, building it into what it is today, a well respected car service workshop with a reputation for getting the job done.  Beckie says she gets the occasional odd reaction at the senior mechanic of the workshop or Roadside Assist operator being a woman but those that know her well also know that her calm, no nonsense attitude to problem solving will no doubt win them over in short order. Needless to say the female customers of Berry Springs Mechanical often feel more comfortable dealing with a woman to woman relationship when it comes to car service. But Beckie's story doesn't end there. As a workshop owner Beckie cares deeply about others, especially the battler out there dealing with situations similar to her own or worse. Not only does Beckie look out for the wellbeing of team at Berry Springs Mechanical and ensure her customers vehicles are safe and efficient to drive, Beckie also extends that care to the community in general, sharing her skills and knowledge to help others in their struggles. For example, Beckie has been an incredible supporter of No One Left Behind since it's inception. No One Left Behind is a series of events and community workshops that brings people together to share challenges faced and offer support, connection and solutions at a grass roots level. Founded by another "Bec", the great female role model and 2022 NT Local Hero Australian of the Year Bec Forrest. No One Left Behind has grown until these initiatives have branched out across the country and champions men’s, women’s, LGBTQI, youth and disability rights. About "Bec's Basics" Beckie began her support of No One Left Behind by offering a Tyre Changing and Basic Mechanical Workshop at the inaugural No Woman Left Behind Conference. This then blossomed into monthly "Bec's Basics" workshops, empowering anyone, particularly women, with essential car care skills. The regular workshops, which Beckie hosted at no charge to the participants lead car owners through such mechanical tasks as how to check your oil levels, check your coolant, check tyre pressures, how to change a tyre and changing wiper blades. The monthly sessions are no longer undertaken but you can still get Beckie's sage advice via her Facebook Posts The new approach to Becs Basics Bec's Basics will be taking a slightly different approach in 2026!  Monthly workshops will not be scheduled but we will continue to post basic tips each month. Beckie also shuts down her workshop so her team can attend the International Men's Day Forum, recognising the importance of men connecting and having conversations around mental health and other crucial issues. When it comes down to how Beckie runs the business, in a recent ABC interview she quipped "Everything comes down to customer service at the end of the day and trying to make all our customers happy. Obviously that comes with some blood, sweat and tears. There's a lot of that goes into certain cars, just giving good customer service, you know, helping people out when they're stuck and obviously need maintenance and repairs, but we get a lot of people just drop in for emergency repairs and we just do our best to accommodate everyone". Running a business can be difficult at times so it is really great to see a successful business owner selflessly putting back into the community on a regular basis... So well done Beckie.
